Pennington Launches Television Commercials Throughout Georgia

SANDY SPRINGS, GA, April 29, 2014 – Republican candidate for Governor David Pennington took his conservative and open government message to a wider audience today, launching television commercials across the state.

The ad slams Nathan Deal’s record and promotes Pennington’s record of cutting taxes while mayor of Dalton, donating his mayoral salary to college scholarships and creating jobs as a small business owner. The ad also highlights where Pennington stands on the issues most important to Republican voters: abolishing Common Core, promoting families as a pro-life conservative and protecting Second Amendment rights.

“Our goal is to ensure every Republican in Georgia knows there is a real difference in this election,” Pennington said. “Nathan Deal’s failure to lead and his true record of tax increases, record unemployment, ethics cover-ups and the disaster that occurred on the Atlanta metro region’s highways during the snow storm, or my proven, conservative and ethical record as a public servant and job creator.”

The ads are running on broadcast and cable TV.
